A current international passport is required for shared accommodation (dorms) and must be provided at check in. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation and charge bookings the first night of accommodation if a passport cannot be presented. GROUP BOOKINGS (6 or more guests) MUST be emailed through to our groups coordinator prior/ group bookings made directly through our website are not confirmed and may be denied.

SCHOOLIES MUST  book via www.schoolies.com to secure accommodation.

Do you take group bookings?

Yes! Mooloolaba can cater for group bookings. We can organise activities and meals in addition to accommodation! We accept International School and travel groups, sporting teams travelling for competition. Any groups over 8 pax must email our groups co-ordinator at info@beachhostelmooloolaba.com.au

Please note we do not accept Bucks/Hens parties of End of season sport trips. Management has the right to refuse group enquiries based on the nature of the request. 

Do you take late check-ins ?

Yes! Late check in’s are accepted. this must be prearranged with our staff prior to arrival. Pre-payment of the room is required.

On arrival, our night staff will greet you and take you to your room. It is a requirement that you phone our office number on arriving to the property. Guests then must see reception the following morning to confirm check in.

How old do i have to be to stay?

Guests must be 18+ with a valid passport to stay.

whats the cancellation policy?

Our policy is that in order to receive a refund for prepaid accommodation prior to arriving at the hostel, or not be charged for a ‘no show’, a guest must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice of cancellation.

Website and other online reservations receive written notice of this policy.

Mooloolaba backpackers do not offer refunds for change of mind or plans.
